Our Third Webinar in the Women's Wellness  Series

Dr. Mary Claire Haver, OB/GYN, Author of The New Menopause

What I Would Tell My 35 Year Old Self:

The Truth about Managing the Hormonal Changes and Nutritional Needs of Women of all Ages

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Mary Claire Haver to the W Connection. As a well-known and well-respected board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Haver has helped thousands of women actualize their health and wellness goals. To empower and educate women, Dr. Haver took a deep dive into the science of menopause, aging, and inflammation beyond what she was taught in school and residency. She emerged with an evidence-based program so women could wisely invest in their most undervalued asset: health.

Thinking you are too young to hear about menopause? Or, maybe you have been "through" menopause?  Think again!

This webinar will help us understand the far-reaching effects of hormonal imbalance at any age--before, during, or after menopause-- and what we can do to reach a state of balanced health.  Hormonal balance can help us with controlling anxiety, sleep disorders, muscle aches, and many other wellness issues.

NOTE:  For the first time, this Wellness Webinar is open to non-members of the W Connection.  As part of your membership fee, there is no additional charge.

For non-members of the W Connection, there is a $25 suggested donation to the W Connection. Non-member registration is available here for anyone you would like to invite!

Dr. Haver speaks from her personal menopause journey and provides practical advice that is backed up by evidence-based research.  She will discuss the prescription and non-prescription treatments including diet, supplements and other wellness practices.  Dr. Haver has amassed over 3 million followers across social media by posting advice for all women, going through the stress of hormonal changes.  She understands that menopause healthcare is in dire need of change and is proud to be leading the conversation. Dr. Haver also recognizes how the stress of loss can impact one’s health, and how hormonal changes and poor nutritional habits can add to this state of just not feeling well.  She will help educate us about what we can do to be proactive, not reactive through these changes to live a balanced life.

In 2021 she opened Mary Claire Wellness, a clinic dedicated to caring for patients as they begin to experience menopausal symptoms they may not recognize, and cope with menopause and the years after menopause.

Dr. Haver went on to write and create the national bestselling book and online program, The Galveston Diet, a three-pronged lifestyle plan that encourages fuel refocusing, intermittent fasting, and anti-inflammatory nutrition to manage hormonal symptoms, stabilize weight, and revitalize the body as it ages to provide benefits that will last a lifetime.

Dr. Haver's second book, The New Menopause, is to be released in the Spring of 2024.

A graduate of Louisiana State University Medical Center with an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB).  Dr. Haver continued her studies and became a Certified Menopause Specialist through The Menopause Society, composed of experts dedicated to improving the quality of women's lives.
