W STEP OUT: A Walk Across the Brooklyn Bridge

W STEP OUT:  Brooklyn, NY - REGISTER TODAY TO JOIN US!!!

A Walk Across the Brooklyn Bridge:  Join W Connection Members and W Step Out Volunteers, Fran and Regina as we step out and stroll across the Brooklyn from NYC to Brooklyn (~2.5 mile)

OUR MEETING POINT
Register so that we can expect you at our meeting point.  We will meet between 10:30-11:00am in lower Manhattan at the Jacob Wrey Mould Fountain in City Hall Park located at 43 Park Row, NY, NY 10038.  The closest subway stops to the pre-walk meeting point are:
- J or Z train to Chambers / Center Street
- R or W train to City Hall Station
- 2 or 3 to Park Place / Church Ave
- E to World Trade
- 4 or 5 to Fulton Street

As a group, we’ll depart City Hall Park at 11:00 am. Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Make a Right on Prospect Street. Right again on Old Fulton Street to Brooklyn Bridge Park Greenway. After taking in the view, make a Left to walk along the Brooklyn Bridge Park Greenway to Pier 6, where we can regroup and gather.

WANT TO JOIN US AFTER THE WALK ACROSS THE BRIDGE
Estimated time of arrival to Pier 6 will be between 12:15 and 12:45pm.  For those who may not want to walk the Bridge, please meet us at Pier 6, adjacent to Fornino - Brooklyn Bridge Park - Brooklyn Bridge Park.  At Pier 6, you can order take out a pizza and/or refreshment from Fornino or please feel free to pack your lunch, snack or refreshment. We can sit by the garden or in grass behind Fornino. There is lots of green park space!!  Please bring a blanket or towel in case there is not sufficient bench space.  We look forward to exploring Pier 6 (and possibly some of the others) that all offer beautiful scenery, city skylines, other food and/or food truck options and more. There is lots of green park space!!

The closest subway stops to the post walk meeting spot are:
- 2 or 3 to Clark Street / Henry Street
- R, N W to Court Street / Montague St
- 4 or 5 to Borough Hall / Joralemon St
- A or C to High Street

The W Step Out ends here and you can stay as short or long as you like.
