Peer-Led Support Topic Meeting (Second Tuesday of Month) - August

08/12/2025 07:00 PM - 08:00 PM ET

Description

Peer Led Support Topic Meetings

Our topic this month is:  "The Journey of a Member of The W Connection"

The journey of a member starts when a member first joins,

- Some members feel grief that is overwhelming.
- Some women feel out of place, or uncomfortable.
- Some women feel immediately connected.
- Some members see hope and a path forward.
- Some women simply feel that they “need to be here”.

This month, we invite you to look around the room at the faces of this extraordinary group of courageous women of all ages, all backgrounds, and all walks of life. Look at what connects you. You are all women that made a CHOICE and used your strength to SHOW UP.

If you’re here, it means you’ve chosen to show up --and that alone is a choice and a courageous step forward.

This month we explore this journey and our mountain top idea for all of our members.

In preparation for these meetings, the Topic committee suggests listening to Dawn's Video.

The Topic committee suggests reading these articles:

- Managing Difficult Life Transitions
