Book Club

Our Book Club has selected NYT Bestseller The Personal Librarian co-written by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray for our August meeting.  

As we continue our focus on extraordinary, courageous women, this choice is a historical novel about J. P. Morgan’s personal librarian, Belle da Costa Greene, a Black American woman  forced to hide her true identity and pass as white. She becomes one of the most powerful people in the art and book world and a New York City socialite, hiding her true identity.
