Second Tuesday of Month (STM) - Peer-Led Support Topic Meeting
Description
Our topic this month is: "Taking Steps Towards Healing Our Loneliness"
We tackle an important topic in this month's Peer Led Support Meetings. How do we heal our loneliness?
We believe that the answer lies in creating a more connected life. What exactly does that mean?
We return to Dr. Vivek Murthy, the author of "Together: The Healing Power of Human Connection in a Sometimes Lonely World.". In this book, here's what he says:
“Creating a connected life begins with the decisions we make in our day-to-day lives. Do we choose to make time for people? Do we show up as our true selves? Do we seek out others with kindness...? This work requires courage – the courage to be vulnerable, to take a chance on others, to believe in ourselves.”
We hope you find the time to join us for this important and revealing conversation.
