Peer-Led Support Topic Meeting (Held the First Monday of Month) - January

01/05/2026 09:30 PM - 10:30 PM ET

Description

Peer Led Support Topic Meeting

Join fellow widows in a safe, supportive space where we explore a monthly theme together. Led by peers who understand the journey, these meetings offer connection, shared wisdom, and practical strategies for healing and growth.

Whether you’re newly widowed or years into your journey, this is a place to feel seen, heard, and supported.

Our topic this month is:  "Nuturing the Seeds of Hope"

How can we help one another learn that grieving and cultivating hope can coexist?

We know that many widows experience a loss of hope after the death of their partners—this is a natural and understandable response to profound loss.

In this month’s topic meeting, we will begin by exploring what hope means: the trust that life can get better, and the willingness to remain open to its return. The first steps may be small or fleeting, but each one matters. Together, we will practice ways to nurture hope and gently restore it.

With encouragement and support from one another, these gatherings will center on recognizing, tending and growing the Seeds of Hope.
