Peer-Led Support Topic Meeting (Held the First Monday of Month) - February
Description
Peer Led Support Topic Meeting
Join fellow widows in a safe, supportive space to explore a monthly theme together. Led by peers who understand the journey, these meetings offer connection, shared wisdom, and practical tools for healing and growth. Whether you're newly widowed or years into your path, this is a place to feel seen, heard, and supported.
Our topic this month is: "Navigating Difficult Emotions"
I sat with my anger long enough until she told me her real name was grief.” ― C.S. Lewis
Our February Peer-Led Topic Meetings will focus on how to navigate the difficult emotions we experience as widows. These emotions like guilt, anger, envy and fear can be very intense, and part of our journey is learning how to acknowledge them while still trying to move forward.
We hope you will join us to discuss these difficult emotions--how to be true to yourself but at the same time ensure that these emotions do not restrict our efforts to rebuild our lives.
