Peer-Led Support Topic Meeting (Held the First Monday of Month) - March
Description
Peer Led Support Topic Meeting
Join fellow widows in a safe, supportive space to explore a monthly theme together. Led by peers who understand the journey, these meetings offer connection, shared wisdom, and practical tools for healing and growth. Whether you're newly widowed or years into your path, this is a place to feel seen, heard, and supported.
Our topic this month is: "Self-Compassion: Treating Ourselves with Kindness, Support, and Awareness"
I am Worth It!
In our March peer-led topic meeting, we'll explore how nurturing ourselves --gently, intentionally, and without judgement --can help us move forward. Drawing on the work of Dr. Kristin Neff, a leading psychologist and author in the field, we define self‑compassion as treating ourselves with kindness, support, and awareness of what we need.
Together, we'll deepen our awareness of what we need and practice what it means to feel, hear, and say: "I am worth it."
