Description

Peer Led Support Topic Meeting

Join fellow widows in a safe, supportive space to explore a monthly theme together. Led by peers who understand the journey, these meetings offer connection, shared wisdom, and practical tools for healing and growth.  Whether you're newly widowed or years into your path, this is a place to feel seen, heard, and supported.

Our topic this month is:  "Part I: Loneliness in Widowhood:  Naming It, Understand It, Easing It"

Loneliness is one of the most tender and complicated parts of widowhood—and often one of the least talked about.

Loneliness isn’t just missing your partner. It’s the ache of emotional absence, the disruption of familiar rhythms, and the quiet moments that feel too quiet. While many people experience loneliness, in widowhood it can feel deeper and more disorienting.

This month, we’ll explore what loneliness truly is—and what it isn’t. We’ll look at the difference between being alone, feeling lonely, and feeling overwhelmed or untethered in ways that can mimic loneliness. We’ll also begin noticing the small moments when connection or belonging still breaks through.
