We are delighted to welcome back W Connection member Nan Bauer-Maglin for a second W Connection Wellness Webinar.

As a professional author and researcher, Nan knows the value of story-telling. After her husband's death, her natural inclination was to reach out to other widows to hear about their own stories of pain and despair, as well as expressions of hope and strength. By interviewing other widows, Nan found her own healing. She shared this first book --Widows' Words--with us last year.

Nan is back with her next book--Gray Love: Stories About Dating and New Relationships After 60. She returns to the interview format to share stories of dating and new relationships.

While the book focuses on her own age cohort, the stories she chooses to illuminate for this webinar will focus on the challenges of dating after loss applicable to widows of any age.

Nan Bauer-Maglin is professor emerita of City University and editor of nine collections including Widows’ Words: Women Write on the Experience of Grief, The First Year, The Long Haul, and Everything In Between.
