Fourth Thursday of Month (FTM) - Peer-Led Support Topic Meeting - JULY
Description
Our topic this month is: "Moving Forward: Taking Steps"
Last month, we explored the concept of "letting go"-- crystallized in this quote: "Holding on is believing there is only a past; letting go is knowing there is a future."
With this understanding, we can begin to move forward. At The W Connection, we purposely use the term Moving Forward instead of Moving On.
Moving Forward means that all our life experiences (including our partners) will impact who we are and the way we grow. Simply, we don't move on from grief. We move forward with it.
When we talk about forward-looking steps, the size of the step does not matter. It's the movement forward that is most important. Some steps feel big, some steps feel small, some feel overwhelming, and some feel surprising doable.
Join us this month as we explore steps that help us Move Forward--steps we have taken, and steps we hope to take soon.
